The Watchers
By Elijah Tate
Five fingers form a hand and so too does the Watchers carry out their orders from the Xenodians. Five Watchers control fate in many ways. These faceless, gender less beings are called by the very attributes that they can manipulate and control. Being a spiritual entity, that can take human form when necessary, makes these creatures believed to be indomitable as no physical weapon has been known to cause these beings harm.
The Dreamweaver is the most mysterious one out of the five.
They only exist and appear to those within the dream worlds, fabricating whatever they want the bearer of the dream to experience in the subconscious mind. All five senses are active in these dreams creating the illusion of reality and subtly creating the opening to take over the thoughts planting seeds of inspiration and desire into their unsuspecting target.
The Controller works as a puppeteer.
Using their senses to connect through strands of eather and move their prey's body without any awareness from the one being controlled. This creates moments of involuntary movement that the ones being the puppet have no recourse of their own will to stop or fight against the power of this connection. However, it is believed that the Controller was incapable of overtaking the Nexians.
The Twisted bends the fabrics of reality creating living nightmares of morbidly grotesque situations that often leaves those experiencing these hellish delusions to become mad and killing those around them to try and escape the "reality" they believe they are in.
Many times suicidal ideation is also made probable do to the twisted state the consciousness is forced to bend.
The Annihilator speaks for itself! Nations have fallen when this Watcher makes their debut.
Utter havoc and chaos ensues sending all whom they want into war so catastrophic that absolute annihilation is all but determined. Records of this Watcher have flooded the world in both myths and historical accounts as the bringer of death and the manifester of hell on earth.
The Possessor is the most primitive of the others.
Possessing those and making them act, do, or say things that they want to create an opening for the other Watchers to take advantage and create the ultimate opportunity that would birth the end of the known universe. The possessed ones are often considered to be "not themselves" and frequently heard talking with themselves. Though really, they are talking with the Possessor directly while others only hear the differences in the tones and the fluctuations of their normal voices, leading most who witness such moments to believe that said person is crazed or confused. Illness is also assumed with this occurrence.
