Siren's Song

Siren's Song

By Elijah Tate

Syren's Breath upon the tide,
Veil the stars, the fates must hide.
Lost to waves, yet never gone,
Bound in whispers, dusk to dawn.

Drink the moonlight, steal its glow,
Find the anchor deep below.
If the mast still stands at sea,
Turn away, or cease to be.

Voices rise where sight is blind,
Names are drowned, yet truth is signed.
The wind will carry what you seek,
But those who listen do not speak.

Step too close, the song will take,
Claim your breath, your bones will wake.
One will enter, one will stay,
One will hear, but fade away.
