Casual Thoughts

By Elijah Tate

Stars being plucked from the sky. Memories being added in their place. I have heard it said that destiny is written in the stars but they don’t speak of the future, they tell stories of other worlds and the lives that once inhabited them. Myths, legends, even fairy tales all come from the same amniotic essence that has indwelled every piece of matter that exists in the universe. Each whispering breath of inspiration is embedded within each of us from God, the creator of all things.

Flickering flames of light pierce through shadows and deceptions. Shadows find the crevices that light can’t. We each hold fractions of these stars within ourselves. Legacies are built by those willing to take up arms against the evil of the world, even when the evil that is being seen is being displayed as good wholesome and morally correct by the masses. Each heroic action came at the result of someone making the conscious decision to make the impossible possible. To cut down the indomitable circumstances that everyone else cower and hide in the wake with fear of being destroyed in the pathways of the most vile.

“As the gaze of the Sentinel’s Eye breaks the shadows, so too are you both light and darkness. A beacon of hope to the lost, a force standing against the abyss. A shadow capable of suffocating the vile that lingers in the land.”
